Music video magazine advert ideas

We looked at a magazine advert for the pop group Little Mix. We chose this particular advert because it was the same genre as our track as well as featuring two girls in the photo, this was useful to us as it gave us some ideas of the kind of poses the girls in our group might do in our advert.

We also liked the way the advert positioned it's text, for example, there are three boxes of text at the bottom of the advert and each box is slightly slanted to exaggerate the nature of the advert as being organised yet jumbled. Another feature we picked up on was the text at the top of the screen, whilst the style of our video is different in the style of the colouring, we liked the slanted, double text effect used.

We looked at the costumes worn in the article as they are pop related with the fancy dresses and hoop earrings. Their hair is also arranged to look stylish and big to give the pop look. They're both smiling and look like they're having fun which is  atmosphere they are trying to give off which is conforming to the pop genre.

We also liked the quote used in the article, seen in an orange circle, this gives the audience a personal aspect which the artists need to give off to their followers in order to keep them interested in the group. This is a quote which tries to make the viewer laugh and makes the stars seem more human, by adding random quotes that make the girls seem like they are having a good time.
